Case Study: The Park Place Apartments in Manhattan, Kansas
The Park Place Apartments had a serious problem. They had more than 55,000 square feet of aging, EPDM rubber roofs that were beginning to develop leaks.
The apartment owner had seen roofing work recently completed at Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals baseball team. Washington Roofing was asked to inspect the roofs and submit a proposal to stop the leaks and turn the hot, black roof into a cool, white one. Chuck proposed Elasta-Gard SP. The proposal was accepted and within two weeks, the 55,000 square feet of roof is now 100% leak-free and Energy Star cool. See before and after photos »
Case Study: Iowa Salt Domes
Project Overview:
The state of Iowa wanted to have options other than a steep-slope asphalt shingle for their holding domes. These domes house 
different types of road melting substrates during the cold winter months.
The problems they were having ranged from loose shingles, sliding shingles, delaminated shingles, and the overall troubles of the shingles not being able to perform on merely a vertical pitched roof assembly. Read more and see before and after photos »
