Scope of Work: Stop roof leaks in existing EPDM system.
Project Overview:
The Park Place Apartments in Manhattan, Kansas had a serious problem. They had more than 55,000 square feet of aging, EPDM rubber roofs that were beginning to develop leaks.
 
Washington Companies was asked to inspect the roofs and submit a proposal to stop the leaks and turn the hot, black roof into a cool, white one. Washington Roofing’s president, Chuck Carpenter, proposed Elasta-Gard SP, a direct bond roofing system by NEOGARD®. The proposal was accepted and within two weeks, the 55,000 square feet of roof is now 100% leak-free and Energy Star® cool.
