Elasta-Gard Modified Bitumen (BUR/MB)
Nearly 53 percent of all commercial roofs are Asphaltic BUR and Modified Bitumen. The Elasta-Gard Modified Bitumen roof system provides a 60 mils cool roof urethane membrane to refurbish these roofs. Download a pdf file of the Elasta-Gard BUR/MB.
The first photo to the left shows an existing modified bitumen roof. Notice the seams that are exposed to the elements, increasing the chance of roof leakage.
Photo number two (2) shows the in-between process of granules and the 60 mils of fluid-applied membrane.
